Turn left out of the parking lot, then turn left onto Garnsey.  Right on Turk, then left on Steele.  Turn right at the top of Steele and head down Baker.  Turn right on Valentown, then at High St, turn left (yes – turn left).  Turn right on Willowbrook, right on Rowley, then right on 96 followed by a left on Benson.  Turn right on Fishers, then left on 96 and back to the parking lot.  Distance is 12.2 miles.

For 6.6 miles – when on Turk Hill – Stay on Turk Hill past Steele. Turn right on 96 and back to the parking lot.

For 9.7 miles and some trails – on Valentown, before you get to High St, look for a new road named Fernwood Trail on the right. Take Fernwood Trail – it will turn into High Point Drive – then pick up the Seneca Trail on the right, just past the top of the hill. Follow the Seneca Trail over to Turk Hill, and continue on the Seneca Trail which runs behind the Michaels Plaza. This trail will take you out to LaSalle Parkway. Then pick up 96 and head back to the parking lot.

All routes : Turn left out of the parking lot. Turn right on Park Rd, then right on East followed by a left Thornell. Turn right on Mill Rd. Take the Auburn Trail over to Knickerbocker. Or stay on Mill Rd, turn left onto East, then left onto 96 and left onto Knickerbocker.

For 10 miles – at the end of Knickerbocker, turn left onto Pittsford Mendon Rd. Then turn left onto Thornell, then right on 96 and back to the parking lot.

For 11.4 miles – at the end of Knickerbocker, turn right onto Pittsford Mendon Rd. Then turn left on Mendon Center Rd. At Calkins, turn left to continue on Mendon Center Rd. Turn left on Barker, turn right on West Bloomfield, then left on Thornell. Turn right on 96 and return to the parking lot. (Returning thru Powder Mills Park makes the distance 12)

September 22, 2018 – High St and Fishers Rd

Turn left out of the parking lot and head up 96 to the mall.

TRAIL OPTION – Turn left on Moseley, then immediate right on Lasalle Parkway. At the end, pick up the Seneca Trail, that runs behind the Plaza. Cross over Turk Hill and continue on the Seneca Trail under the power line. Follow this into the woods on the right near the top of the hill. Cross over High Pointe and you will come out near Valentown Hall. Cross over High St and continue on the Seneca Trail to the left of the Restaurants. This trail will follow along 96 then go behind the Walmart Plaza, and come out on Willowbrook. Turn right, go under the bridges, then climb over the guard rail to continue on the Seneca Trail. Follow the trail into Ambush Valley, where General Denonville with around 3000 troops was attacked by Seneca Indians in 1687. Continue on the trail – you will come out on 96 across from Rt. 251. Take 251, then turn right on a blue trail, just before you get to the Auburn Trail. Follow the blue trail over to the Lehigh Trail – turn right on the Lehigh Trail, cross over the Auburn Trail, then take the ramp on the right down to the Auburn Trail. Turn left on the Auburn Trail – follow this to Fishers Rd. Turn right on Fishers Rd, then left on 96 and return to the parking lot. Or just follow me. My best estimate is the trail route is 12.3 miles

Turn right out of the parking lot, then turn right on Kreag. Turn left on Rt. 31, then get on the canal and head towards Fairport. Take the pedestrian bridge across the canal on the far side of Fairport that puts you on the Perinton Bike Hike Way.

For 11.0 miles – At Ayrault, turn right, then turn left on Turk Hill. Turn right on Garnsey, right on 96 and return to the parking lot.

For 12.6 miles – stay on the Perinton Bike Hike Way over to Hogan. Turn left on Hogan, then left on Ayrault and rejoin the 11 mile route.

For 7.8 miles – on the canal, exit onto Ayrault and turn right to head across the canal. Stay on Ayrault over to Turk Hill. Turn left on Turk Hill, then left on Garnsey, left on 96 and return to the basin.

The Main Route – turn left out of the parking lot, then turn right on Fishers Rd. Turn right onto Railroad Mills, then straight onto Probst. Turn left on Mile Square, then turn right on Smith. Turn left on Pittsford Mendon Rd. Turn left onto the Lehigh Trail. Cross over Mile Square, cross over Old Dutch, then turn left on Wangum. Turn right on Main St Fishers, then left on Log Cabin. Turn left on Benson, turn right on Fishers Rd, then left on 96 and back to the parking lot. Distance is 12.3 miles.

For 14.5 miles – start with the main route. Stay on Smith until W. Bloomfield. Turn left on W. Bloomfield, then turn left onto the Lehigh Trail, which will bring you to the main route.

Need a twenty miler? Start with the main route. Stay on Smith until Mendon Center Rd. Turn left on Mendon Center Rd, then continue on Rush Mendon Rd (Rt. 251) headed west. At the traffic circle, take a left onto Clover, headed south. Cross over Stoney Lonesome Road and then look for the Lehigh Trail – Turn left onto the Lehigh Trail. Run this all the way over to Wangum, rejoining the main route. Distance is 20.6 miles.

Turn right out of the parking lot, then turn right on Kreag. Turn left on 31, then turn left onto the ramp to the canal. Take the canal towards Bushnell Basin. Follow the canal, turning right on to the Auburn Trail over to Mitchell, just past the flood control gate. Turn right on Mitchell, cross over 31, turn right onto the sidewalk along 31. Turn left onto Marsh Rd, then left onto Golf. Turn left on Washington, left on 96/East ave, and then left onto the canal at Schoen Place. Head back towards the basin – turn left under the power lines, then turn right onto the Auburn Trail. Turn right on Mitchell, cross over the canal, turn left on 96, and pick up the Cartersville Trail to return to the basin. Distance is 12.4 miles.

For 9.6 miles – on Marsh Rd, turn left on the old trolley trail that heads over to the Senior Citizen Complex. Stay on the trail over to Rt 31, cross over 31 and pick up the Auburn Trail that bears to the left. Turn right on Mitchell, left on 96 and pick up the Cartersville Trail to return to the basin

All routes – turn left out of the parking lot and head up 96 to the Mall. Turn left onto High St Extension and then left onto High St.

For 12.1 miles – from High St, turn left on Gillis, then left on Cobble Creek Rd. Take the first two right turns to contine on Cobble Creek Rd. Turn left on Egypt Victor Rd, then left on Valentown. Turn right to head up Baker, then left on Steele. Cross over Turk Hill and continue on Beauclaire. Turn right on Neuchatel, right on Vineyard Hill, then left on Garnsey. Turn right on 96 and return to the parking lot.

For 8.9 miles – from High St, turn left on Valentown, then left on Baker.  Left on Steele, cross over Turk Hill and continue on Beauclaire. Turn right on Neuchatel, right on Vineyard Hill, then left on Garnsey. Turn right on 96 and return to the parking lot.

All routes – turn left out of the parking lot, then turn right onto Park Rd. Turn right on East Ave, then left on Thornell. Turn left on West Bloomfield.

For 9.2 miles, turn left on Canfield, then left on Pittsford Mendon Rd. Turn right onto Hedge Wood Lane. Look for a trail between two houses on the left. Take the trail over to Wren Field Lane – Turn left. Then find the trail at the end of the cul-de-sac over to Van Voorhis. Turn right on Van Voorhis. Turn left on East, then right on Thornell and return to the basin and the parking lot.

Turn right out of the parking lot. Pick up the trail behind the Marathon Gas Station just past the Marsh Rd bridge. Follow the Cartersville Trail along the south side of the canal until you are across from Knickerbocker. Head up Knickerbocker, then turn right on Pittsford Mendon Rd. At the 4 way intersection, go straight onto Stone. Stay with Stone up to Clover. Turn right on Clover, then pick up the canal. Follow the canal trail past Pittsford until you get to the Powerline – turn left under the power line, then take a right onto the Auburn Trail. Turn right on Mitchell, cross over the canal, then turn left on 96. Pick up the Cartersville trail and return to the basin. Distance is 11.8 miles.

For 9 miles – When you get to the 4 way intersection on Pittsford Mendon Rd, turn right onto South Main St. Turn right into Schoen Place and pick up the canal, rejoining the main route.

If you need something longer, when you get to the canal at Clover, a trip over to the JCC on the canaland back will add 2.4 miles for a total of 14.2 miles.

The traditional Fishers Run, from the parking lot is 9.5 miles – Turn left onto 96, right on Park Rd.  Turn left on Corduroy, and then left on Woolston.  Turn right on Fishers Rd, then left on Main St. Fishers.  Turn left on Log Cabin, then right on Lower Fishers, and then left on Benson.  Turn right on Fishers Rd, then return thru Powder Mills Park (left on Woolston, right on Corduroy, right on Park Rd)  Turn left on 96 and back to the parking lot.

Note: You can skip the Lower Fishers option by staying on Log Cabin. This shortens any route by 1 mile.

You can skip Powder Mills Park on the way back by staying on Fishers Rd to 96. This shortens any route by 0.5 miles

For 7.5 miles – take 96 directly to Fishers Rd. Left on Main St. Fishers, then left on Log Cabin. Stay on Log Cabin, then left on Benson, right on Fishers Rd, then left on 96.
