October 4, 2014 – White Brook Nature Trails
Turn right out of the parking lot, then get on the canal and head towards Fairport. Turn right on Ayrault Rd.
For 13.8 with trails – turn right on the Perinton Bike Hike Way. Cross over Hogan, then turn left on Mason. Pick up the Orange marked trail on the right before crossing a small stream. Follow orange trail – cross over Broadmoor and continue on. Take a right that carries you between two small ponds. Take the right turns to continue on orange. Cross over Aldrich, and enter the parking lot for the White Brook Nature Center. Pick up the orange trail on the left side of the parking lot. Follow orange until you almost get to Ayrault, where a white trail will take you to the corner of Ayrault and Aldrich. Follow Ayrault all the way back to the canal, and follow the canal back to the basin.

For 10.3 with no trails – on Ayrault, turn left onto the Perinton Bike Hike Way. Take this to the canal and follow the canal back to the basin.

For 12.6 with no trails – on Ayrault, turn left onto Lyndon, cross over the canal and take the pedestrian ramp to the canal. Follow the canal back to the basin.

For 15.4 miles with no trails – on Ayrault, turn right on Perinton Bike Hike Way. Follow this across Hogan, Mason and Rt.31 over to Egypt/Victor Rd at Lollypop Farms. Turn left, then a right on 31 followed by a left on Aldrich. Turn left onto Ayrault, then right on Lyndon. Cross over the canal and take the pedestrian ramp to the canal. Follow the canal back to the basin.

For trails only – after everyone else starts running, car pool over to the parking area at Ayrault and the Perinton Bike Hike Way. We will make it a loop by following the Hike way over to Mason, then pick up the Crescent Trail over to Broadmoor, the White Brook Nature Trails, then run along the south side of the canal all the way to the Perinton Bike Hike Way and back to the cars. 8.3 miles or maybe more.
