After leaving the Bluebird Trail, turn left on Victor Egypt Road and then immediately turn right on Springdale Ct, and look for the parking area on the right. From the parking area follow the white trail. Warning: There are multiple loops to the Monkey Run Trails. Runners have gotten lost in there during past Oven Door Runs. If you take only left hand turns – you will go from white to red to yellow to red to white to blue and then hopefully back to Valentown. Be aware that there are multiple blue marked trails that do not get you out to Valentown. This option can add up to 4 miles to the road route, depending on how lost you get.

Fourth Optional Trail Section – Genesee Land Trust. On Valentown, directly across from where the Monkey Run Trail connects with Valentown is a trail on land held by the Genesee Land Trust. Follow Blue to its end – then take red which leads you back to blue. At that intersection you can take yellow, then return to the intersection and take blue back to Valentown.
