only Route: Head out 96 towards the mall. Turn left on High St, then left on
Gillis Next, turn left onto Egypt Victor Rd., then left on Valentown. Turn
right on Baker, left on Steele, cross-over Turk into Beaumont. Turn right on
Neuchatel, right on Vineyard Hill, then left on Garnsey. Turn right on 96 and
return to the parking lot. Distance is 12.2 miles
Optional Trail Section – The Hundred Acres Wood Trail – from Gillis turn right
on Yale Ct. Near the end you will find a trail for the Hundred Acres Woods on
the left. This trail is about ¾ mile long, and will take you over to Fox Hunt
Drive. Fox Hunt Drive will take you back to Gillis. Turn right to continue the
route. (This option adds about 1.4 miles to road route)
Optional Trail Section – The Bluebird Trail. From Egypt-Victor Rd, turn right
into the Mary Frances Bluebird Haven. The turn is just before you get to
Valentown Rd. The trail crosses the driveway into the Haven. You can go in
either direction – it is a one mile loop that brings you back to where you
Optional Trail Section – The Monkey Run Trail. If you are feeling adventurous,
consider trying the Monkey Run Trail. After leaving the Bluebird Trail, turn
left on Victor Egypt Road and then immediately turn right on Springdale Ct, and
look for the parking area on the right. From the parking area follow the white
trail. Warning: There are multiple loops to the Monkey Run Trails. Runners have
gotten lost in there during past Oven Door Runs. If you follow only right hand
turns, then follow white to blue and one of the blue trails will take you out
to Valentown. If you take only left hand turns – you will go from white to red
to yellow to red to white to blue and then hopefully back to Valentown. Be
aware that there are multiple blue marked trails that do not get you out to
Valentown. This option can add up to 4 miles to the road route, depending on
how lost you get.
Optional Trail Section – Genesee Land Trust. On Valentown, directly across from
where the Monkey Run Trail connects with Valentown is a trail on land held by
the Genesee Land Trust. Follow Blue to its end – then take red which leads you
back to blue. At that intersection you can take yellow, then return to the
intersection and take blue back to Valentown. Total distance can be about 1.5
miles if you take all options.

the Linear Park Run –
out the canal path towards Fairport.
Exit the canal onto O’Connor.
Turn left on Whitney. Whitney
will turn into Five Mile Line Rd. Turn
left on Rt. 441, then left into Linear Park.
Cross over Irondequoit Creek and head up the hill. Turn left on Lincoln Mills, left on Linden then
right on Bluff. Turn left into Eyer
Park. Take the trail over to Midvale –
turn left. Turn right on Baird, left
into BOCES, then take the trail around the back. Turn right on O’Connor and then right on the
canal and back to the basin. Distance is
11.8 miles, turn left on Linden from Whitney and then left on Bluff Dr.,
rejoining the main route
9.2 miles – on Whitney – turn left on Baird, then left into BOCES, rejoining
the main trail
7.5 miles – run the canal until you get to O’Connor, then turn around and
retrace your steps back to the parking lot.
16 miles – follow the main route – when you return to the canal turn left and run
over to Turk Hill. Turn around and follow the canal back to the basin.

Baker. Turn right on Valentown, then at
High St, turn left (yes – turn left).
Turn right on Willowbrook, right on Rowley, then right on 96 followed by

then left on 96 and back to the parking lot.
Distance is 12.2 miles.
6.6 miles – when on Turk Hill – Stay on Turk Hill past Steele. Turn right on 96
and back to the parking lot.
9 miles – at Valentown and High St – turn right on High St, then right on 96
and back to the parking lot.
10.7 miles – right on High St, left on 96, then right on Benson and rejoin the
12.2 mile route above.
15 miles – From Baker, turn left on Valentown, then right on Egypt-Victor
Rd. Turn right on Aldridge, right on
High St, then left on Willowbrook, rejoining the main route. Then on Fishers Rd, come back thru Powder
Mills Park (left on Woolston, right on Corduroy, right on Park Rd.)
left out of the parking lot, then turn right on Park Rd. Turn left on East.
East will change names to Mile Square. Turn left onto the Lehigh Trail, then
take the ramp on the right down to the Auburn Trail. Turn left on the Auburn
Trail and follow this across Main St. Fishers to Fishers Rd. Turn right on
Fishers Rd., then left on 96 and return to the parking lot. Distance is 12.7
7.4 miles – on Mile Square, turn left on Probst, then rejoin the main route by
turning left on Fishers Rd.
10 miles – on Mile Square, turn left on Main St Fishers, then rejoin the main
route by turning left on Fishers Rd.
14.9 miles – stay on Mile Square to the end. Turn left on Taylor, then right on
Strong. Turn left on Dryer, then left on Willis Hill. Turn left on 251, right
on Wangum, left on Main St Fishers then right on Fishers Rd and re-join the

Whitney. Turn right on 250. Follow this all the way to 96. Turn right on 96 and
return to the basin. Distance is 12.1 miles.
10.7 miles – on Moseley – turn right on Garnsey, then right on 96.
13.7 miles – on Rt. 96 just before getting back to the Park&Ride – turn
left on Fishers Rd., right on Woolston, right on Corduroy, right on Park Rd,
left on 96.
15.6 miles – on Rt. 96 just before getting back to the Park&Ride – turn
left on Fishers Rd., right on Woolston, right on Railroad Mills, right on Park
Rd. left on 96.
