Turn left out of the parking lot onto 96.  Turn right on Fishers Rd, and then take a left onto Benson.  Stay on Benson all the way to 96.  Turn right on 96, then right on Main St. Fishers.  Run the entire length of Main St. Fishers.  Turn right on Mile Square, then turn right on Park Rd.  Left on 96 brings you back to the parking lot.  Distance is 11.9 miles

For 8.5 miles – from Benson, turn right on Log Cabin. Turn right on Main St. Fishers, then right on the Auburn Trail.  Turn right on Woolston, left on Corduroy, right on Park Rd., then left on 96 and back to the parking lot.

Head out the canal towards Fairport. Go past Turk Hill and take the pedestrian bridge over the canal onto the Perinton Bike Hike Way.

For the 10 mile option – turn right on Ayrault, then left on Kreag Rd. turn left on 96 and return to the parking lot

For the 11.4 mile option – from the Perinton Bike Hike Way, turn right on Hogan, then turn right on Rt. 31, and then left on Turk Hill. Turn right on Garnsey, then right on 96 and return to the basin.

For 13.2 miles – from the Perinton Bike Hike Way, turn right on Hogan, then turn left on Rt. 31. Turn right on Thayer, then turn right when you get to Bluhm to continue on Thayer. Turn right on Steele, cross over Turk Hill and go up Beauclaire. Turn right on Neuchatel, right on Vineyard Hill, then left on Garnsey. Turn right on 96 and return to the parking lot.

Trail option – on 31 before you get to Thayer – pick up the Crescent Trail. Follow Orange – it will take you over to Turk Hill. Then rejoin the road route over to Beauclaire.

Turn left out of the Park & Ride – turn right on Park Rd.  Take Park Rd over to East – turn right, then left on Thornell.  Turn right on Mill Rd, then left on East.  Turn left on 96, then left on Knickerbocker.  Take a right on Mendon Rd, then go straight to continue on Stone.  Follow Stone to Clover, turn right, then turn right onto the canal.  Take the canal back to the basin.  Distance is 13.5 miles.

Shortcuts – from Stone – turn right on Tobey to Clover –return as above – 13.0 miles

From Mendon Rd – turn right on S.Main St – follow this over to the canal – follow the canal back – 10.8 miles.

For a longer option – when you get on the canal – head away to the west over to Edgewood. Turn around and follow the canal all the way back.  Distance is 16 miles.

Join us for a pre-Holiday run this Wednesday.  Meet at the Park and Ride at 7:00 am. Turn left out of the parking lot. Turn right on Park Rd. Turn left on East St. East St will change names to Mile Square – continue on Mile Square. Turn left on Probst, then left on Railroad Mills. Return to the parking lot thru Powder Mills Park, by turning right on Woolston, left on Corduroy, then right on Park Rd.  Turn left on 96 and back to the parking lot. Distance is 7.8 miles.

For 9.5 miles – Turn left onto 96, right on Park Rd.  Turn left on Corduroy, and then left on Woolston.  Turn right on Fishers Rd, then left on Main St. Fishers.  Turn right on Lower Fishers, left on Benson.  Turn right on Fishers Rd, then return thru Powder Mills Park (left on Woolston, right on Corduroy, right on Park Rd)  Turn left on 96 and back to the parking lot.

Turn left out of the parking lot, then turn left onto Garnsey.  Right on Turk, then left on Steele.  Turn right at the top of Steele and head down Baker.  Turn right on Valentown, then at High St, turn left (yes – turn left).  Turn right on Willowbrook, right on Rowley, then right on 96 followed by a left on Benson.  Turn right on Fishers, then left on 96 and back to the parking lot.  Distance is 12.2 miles.

For 10.7 miles – right on High St, left on 96, then right on Benson and rejoin the 12.2 mile route above.

For 15 miles – From Baker, turn left on Valentown, then right on Egypt-Victor Rd.  Turn right on Aldridge, right on High St, then left on Willowbrook, rejoining the main route.  Then on Fishers Rd, come back thru Powder Mills Park (left on Woolston, right on Corduroy, right on Park Rd.)

Turn left out of the parking lot, then turn right on Park Rd. Turn right on East, then left on Thornell. Take the Thornell to the end, then turn left on W. Bloomfield. Cross over the Thruway, then turn right on Canfield. Turn right on Pittsford Mendon Center Rd. Turn right on Barker, then right on W. Bloomfield.  Turn left on Thornell and take this all the way back to the basin. Turn right on 96 and back to the parking lot. Distance is 11.9 miles.

Head out to the canal and go towards Pittsford. Exit the canal near the town of Pittsford Highway department, and take the connector trail to the Auburn Trail. Cross over French Rd and stay on the trail until you are opposite the Springhouse Commons.  Cross over 31 and pick up the old Erie Canal trail behind Wegmans.  Cross over French, then turn left onto the Barge Canal and follow the canal all the way back to the basin. Distance is 11.6 miles.

For 14 miles – when you get back to the canal, turn right and follow the canal over to Edgewood. Turn around and follow the canal all the way back.

For 16 miles – keep heading west on the canal until you get to Winton, then turn around and follow the canal all the way back.

For an 8 mile route – go out and back on the canal. When you get to Rt. 31 the second time, past the railroad bridge, turn around and retrace your steps.

For 10 miles – stay on the canal to Clover, and turn around.

Run to the Buffalos! Turn left out of the parking lot. Turn right on Fishers Rd., then turn right on Railroad Mills. Go straight to continue on Probst. Turn left on Mile Square, then turn right on Smith. Cross over Mendon Rd, then cross over W. Bloomfield. Buffalo farm will be on the right. Continue on Smith, then turn right on Mendon Center Rd. Turn right on Canfield, then left on W. Bloomfield followed by a right to continue on Canfield. Turn left on Mendon Rd, then right on Van Voorhis. Turn left on East, then right on Thornell. A right on 96 brings you back to the parking lot. Distance is 13.9 miles.

Head out the canal path towards Fairport.  Exit the canal onto O’Connor.  Turn left on Whitney.  Whitney will turn into Five Mile Line Rd.  Turn left on Rt. 441, then left into Linear Park.  Cross over Irondequoit Creek and head up the hill.  Turn left on Lincoln Mills, left on Linden then right on Bluff.  Turn left into Eyer Park.  Take the trail over to Midvale – turn left.  Turn right on Baird, left into BOCES, then take the trail around the back.  Turn right on O’Connor and then right on the canal and back to the basin.  Distance is 13.5 miles.

(Turning left on Linden from Whitney and then left on Bluff Dr. makes the route 11.8 miles)

(For 16.4 miles – on the above route, stay on Five Mile Line Rd across 441 to Whalen. Turn right on Whalen, then right on Baird, right on 441, and return to the main route. )

For a longer option with trails – on Whitney at Linden – go under the bridge along the creek to pick up the Linear Park Trail.  Run this all the way down to Panorama Plaza.  Return back up to Linear Park and then follow the usual route back.  Distance is 15.3 miles.
